A native of Grenada, Leslie Criss has penned an award-winning column for a quartet of Mississippi newspapers over the course of nearly two decades – The Carthaginian, The Vicksburg Post, The Daily Corinthian and, for the past 12 years, the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal in Tupelo, where she is the features and special sections editor.
