About Us
Troy and I moved to Vicksburg after falling under the little river town's spell. We renovated a historic building that became both our home and workplace, opening Lorelei Books in 2006. We offer a wide array of books, with a focus on regional titles and authors. Visitors to Lorelei Books often comment on a surprising experience: They stumble upon treasures they did not find in the big box while enjoying the atmosphere and service of a "boutique" bookstore. This experience is what we're all about, and we invite you to become a part of it.
Consider the challenges faced by independent booksellers through the years. More than anything else, the neighborhood bookstore owes its endurance to 'You & Us'. Here's to many more happy years together!
